What is the logic behind the circular GSM cutter Radius?

Area of circle = 3.14 * r2

GSM = Area in CM2 / 100

If Area is 100 CM2 then weight of the fabric will be the GSM, so

=> 100 = 3.14 *  r2

=> r = square root of (100/3.14)

=> Radius = 5.64 cms and diameter = 11.28 cms
